Jamaica on track to meet targets - EPOC
The body overseeing Jamaica's economic reform programme under the deal with the International Monetary Fund says the Government is on track to meeting set targets for the end of this month.
The Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC) has released its latest communique outlining the economy's progress at the end of January.
EPOC says Jamaica's fiscal and monetary perfomance remains strong with tax revenues surpassing expectations.
It says the government expenditure is lower than anticiapted. It's why Keith Duncan, the co-chair of EPOC says Jamaica will meet the targets for the end of March.
