Two-hundred-and-fifty-seven people benefited from cataract surgeries last week courtesy of a team of doctors attached to Mind, Body and Soul Opthalmology Mission.

It brings to 750 the number of surgeries performed by the team over a three-year period.

The surgeries were performed at the Mandeville Regional Hospital in Manchester.

Co-founder of the Florida-based Mind, Body and Soul non-profit organisation, Horace Morgan, says this is part of the giveback to the community he and his wife have been doing annually in Alexandria, St Ann.
