The three St James men and an American man held in relation to an alleged international drug ring had their bails extended to May 22.

When the matter was called up in the St James Parish Court yesterday the court was told that one of the attorneys in the case was absence because he was involved in a murder trial in the Home Circuit Court in Kingston.

The case was then adjourned by parish judge Natalie Hart-Hines.

The accused, Robert Dunbar, Delroy Gayle, and Louis Smith, all of Montego Bay addresses, and United States citizen, Melford Daley, were arrested during a major police operation carried out by the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency in 2013.

The police have alleged that they are involved in a major international drug ring.

They were arrested and charged based on a statement from a key prosecution witness who is now in federal custody in the United States.
