The police constable and two men who are charged with the murder of a taxi operator in St Thomas were further remanded when they appeared in court on Friday.

They are to return to court on May 4.

The Constable Bradon Logan, who is attached to the Hunts Bay Police Station and Shamalo Panton and Nowayne Ennis, who are both of Kingston 13 addresses, were last week charged jointly with murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

The charges were laid in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Carl Armstrong who was shot in his vehicle moments after dropping off students at the Grants Pen Primary School on April 4.

The vehicle with Logan, Panton and Ennis was later intercepted in Bull Bay, about 11 miles away from where the incident happened.
