The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) has received three new garbage trucks valued at over $60 million.

The three garbage trucks bring to nine the number received by the NSWMA so far this year.

The waste management agency is expected to get a total of 28 new trucks.

Speaking at the handing-over ceremony this morning, Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie said the acquisition of the trucks is part of efforts to improve the service delivery of the NSWMA.
