Alleged robber shot dead after breaking into cop's farm store

The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the shooting death of an unidentified man by a policeman in Denbigh, Clarendon this morning.

It’s reported that an alarm was raised that there was a break-in at a farm store owned by the cop.

It’s further reported that the policeman along with a police patrol team went to the store, located on Muirhead Avenue, where they were allegedly fired on.

The police reportedly returned the fire and after the shooting subsided one man was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

It's unclear how many persons were involved in the alleged robbery.
