Gonsalves to leave CARICOM meeting early over mother's death

Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, is to leave the CARICOM meeting in Grenada early following the death of his mother. 

He told journalists this morning that his mother Theresa Francis died last night. 

He plans on leaving Grenada tomorrow. 

The CARICOM heads of government conference started yesterday and is scheduled to end tomorrow evening.
