JetBlue Airways has provided a welcome boost for the Children of Jamaica Outreach (COJO) Inc, 2017 Summer Soiree.

The airline, a consistent sponsor of COJO fundraising events which provide scholarships, mentorship and upgrades for educational facilities in at-risk communities in Jamaica, has donated travel certificates for travel to Jamaica, one of many Caribbean destinations served by the airline.

Gary Williams, chairman of COJO, said "the JetBlue tickets are welcome and will be paired with hotel stays at Grand Palladium, Hilton Rose Hall, Jewel Resorts and Sandals Resorts International, which all donated vacation packages for this year's benefit raffle".

According to Williams: "The 2017 Summer Soiree on Saturday, July 22, in Queens, New York will help us raise funds to provide more scholarships to wards of the state and other underserved bright young minds in Jamaica. We are forever indebted to JetBlue Airways and our various hotel partners for making such an investment in Jamaica's children, our future."

The COJO Summer Soiree serves as a showcase for emerging and established designers, and this year the spotlight will be placed on the designs of Brooklyn-based Moshood Creations, Signature Closet Boutique and celebrated Jamaica/New York-based Courtney Washington.

Entertainment will be provided by Rick Dalgetty and Tropical Rhythms with a cultural presentation by D'Oro Dance Ensemble.
