Partnership formed to improve care services
Angels4U Home care Limited and Choice Business Solutions have joined forces to improve the delivery of care services in Jamaica. The two organisations recently formalised their partnership agreement which is expected to result in increased operational efficiency and profitability.
Founded three years ago by Jacqueline Stewart, the current managing director, Angels4U Home Care provides competent and compassionate personnel, delivering the full spectrum of personal-care services in the comfort of one's home.
Its cadre of professionals include practical and registered nurses, home care assistants, nannies and housekeepers, who are also available for commercial duties. A project very dear to her heart, Stewart started the company after years of remotely trying to source reliable in-home care for her ailing mother, whose health had deteriorated when placed in a nursing home.
Having seen the business model work successfully in other countries, Stewart decided to replicate it in Jamaica. "Our clients remain our most valued and cherished asset.
Raising the bar
Having required the services of an Angelite, I know first-hand the emotions of frustration, anxiety and relief our clients feel. So we are always assessing how we can improve, raising the bar on the exceptional service our clients have come to know and expect, while adeptly managing our operations," Stewart said.
"A partnership with Choice Business Solutions, which has a reputation of success facilitating development and effectively aligning skill sets, was therefore a natural decision," Stewart added.
Choice Business Solutions, a Caribbean-based company, has more than 10 years of experience providing a slate of workforce management and recruiting services. Businesses of all sizes access its solutions in payroll and benefits administration, human resource administration, workforce consulting, project management as well as business analysis outsourcing.
Choice Business Solutions is headed by Janet Smythe-Currie, with general manager operations, Calvin Malcolm, now a director at Angels4U. Sharing a similar vision and mission, Malcolm is enthusiastic about the partnership, which he believes stands to benefit the general populace.
"Angels4U has utilised some services offered by Choice, so there is a mutual respect and an already well-established working relationship. As both entities unite expertise, we are together able to grow our businesses, improve workforce talent, provide more jobs and deliver better service to clients," Malcolm said.
Going forward, the two entities anticipate that this venture will also enable them to build a stronger and lasting relationship with both markets and personnel.
Angels4U Home Care and Choice Business Solutions are now jointly located at 5 Oxford Park Avenue, Kingston 5.
