An elderly man is one of two persons who were shot and killed by gunmen in Spanish Town yesterday.

The dead men have been identified as 62-year-old Daniel Scott and 42-year-old Marcus Williams.

A third man who was shot in the incident has been hospitalised.

It’s reported that the killers escaped with a large sum of cash Scott had just collected to pay a group of workers.

The police say shortly after 6 o’clock they were alerted by residents who reported hearing loud explosions in the community of Dun-be-holden.

Scott and Williams were later found with multiple gunshot wounds to their upper body.
