Former judge in the Jamaican Supreme Court, Ingrid Mangatal, has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in the Cayman Islands.
Mangatal, who is now a judge of the Cayman Islands Grand Court, was arrested on Monday night following a crash on West Bay Road.
The Cayman Compass says the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service reported that the one-vehicle wreck happened around 10:15 in the night, when the vehicle hit a wall in the vicinity of Lime Tree Bay Road.
The 52-year-old woman judge was arrested shortly after the crash, on suspicion of driving under the influence and careless driving.
She is currently on police bail.
