The Member of Parliament for St Catherine Eastern, Denise Daley, says some parts of her constituency could be declared a zone of special operation but she doesn't know enough about it.

In confessing that her knowledge is limited on the special security measure, Daley says she intends to approach Robert Montague, the minister of national security.

"What I intended to do though is sit with the national security minister, because my area is one that can be targeted. So I need to [be more informed]," Daley said.

She was speaking at the People's National Party conference now under way at the National Arena in St Andrew.
