Minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Daryl Vaz, says the government will be seeking to negotiate loans specifically to fix farm roads as part of the efforts to boost the agricultural sector and Gross Domestic Growth (GDP).

Speaking this morning at a press conference, at the Ministry of Agriculture, Vaz said the state of the country's farm roads has been a hindrance to agricultural production.

Consequently, he says the government will be seeking to establish a pool of funds specifically for fixing the dense network of roads that are predominately located in the rural parts of the country.
