The bust of National Hero Marcus Garvey, erected at the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies, has been vandalised.
Images posted online overnight show the bust splattered with yellow paint and bird feathers with a sign stating 'NOTICE: TAKE DOWN THIS FAKE STATUE. OCT 17, 2017'.
The statue, put up in August, had been meant to appease the public following outrage over one previously erected at university.
Raymond Watson sculpted both pieces.
The previously condemned bust is now in the university's museum.
