Six months after a fire that resulted in losses totalling $60 million at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre, the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) is reporting that the investigation is still on-going.
The DCS says the Rollington Town Fire Station, which is leading the investigation, is yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
A section of the prison’s H block, known as the George Davis Centre, was destroyed in the fire on June 7.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The DCS says when investigations are completed the findings will be made public.
