Sections of St Thomas to be without water for another three weeks

Published:Tuesday | February 6, 2018 | 12:00 AM

Residents in sections of St Thomas will continue to be without water for at least three more weeks.

The National Water Commission (NWC) says the resumption of operations at the Prospect Well in the parish will be further delayed as a result of challenges with the extensive rehabilitation work being carried out at the facility.

The NWC now estimates that the work will be completed by February 28, with full restoration of water supply by March 3.

Affected areas include Prospect, Lyssons, Leith Hall, Blue Mahoe, and Retreat.
