St Elizabeth farmers on ganja charges for court Wednesday
Two St Elizabeth farmers are to appear in the St Elizabeth Parish Court on Wednesday after being charged by the police following the seizure of approximately 100 pounds of ganja in Round Hill district on Saturday.
Dean Ricketts and Anthony Braham both 48-year-old residents of Round Hill were held about 6 o'clock in the evening during a police operation in which a Toyota motor car was intercepted and searched.
The police say seven plastic bags containing approximately 100 pounds of ganja were found.
Ricketts and Braham were arrested and the car and the drugs were seized.
The police say the illegal drugs have an estimated street value $400,000.
