The Dunn's River Falls and Park (DRFP) attraction in Ocho Rios, St Ann will adjust its rates for customers come May 25. Pre-booked rates for groups of 1,000 persons or more will remain in place until April 2019.

The rate for Jamaicans with valid forms of identification will increase from $600 to $1,000 and children from $300 to $500, while rates for walk-in non-Jamaicans will increase from US$20 to US$23 and children from US$12 to US$15.

According to Dr Damian Graham, Urban Development Corporation (UDC) general manager, "Dunn's River Falls and Park is keen on ensuring that the needs of guests are met, and in this regard, considers the recommendations provided by each individual who engages in the DRFP Experience."

He further noted that the UDC is guided by this transformational culture highlighted by a series of developmental and customer experience- enhancing projects, which have been welcomed by both local and international clientele.

Customers can be assured of multiple recreational experiences on entry, have the opportunity to explore the triple-garden haven of Central Gardens, equipped with waterslide and splash pad, or lounge at the beach.

A zip line service has also been recently added at an additional cost as part of the attraction's ongoing product development.

The UDC's relationship with Dunn's River Falls and Park began in 1972 when the corporation acquired the Belmont Property.

Over the years, the UDC has been engaged in major upgrading of the property with a view to ensuring parity with other world-class attractions and enriching the Dunn's River experience.

Dunn's River Falls last increased its entry rates in 2009.
