Man arrested following ganja, cocaine seizure on Kensington Crescent, St Andrew

The police are reporting that a man was arrested during an operation on Kensington Crescent, St Andrew where they allegedly seized approximately 196 pounds of ganja and approximately one kilogramme of cocaine.
According to the police, the ganja has a street value of $776,000 and the cocaine is estimated at $1.1 million.
The police say the operation was conducted about 5 o' clock yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the police say a team yesterday afternoon seized 80 pounds of ganja, which they say has an estimated street value of $300,000, in McAlpine, Whitehouse in Westmoreland.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
