The C B Facey Foundation, the charitable arm of PanJam Investment Limited, has announced that the application process for its grants will close next Friday.

The application process has been opened for three months through the foundation’s website, www.cbfaceyfoundation.org.

“Charities, projects and schools still have a few days to apply for up to $1 million in grants,” the foundation said in a statement.

Anna Ward, executive director of C B Facey Foundation, urged new and returning beneficiaries and partners to submit their applications for grants.

“It is a great opportunity to implement or further develop sustainable community based projects that will have a meaningful impact for the areas of arts, education and the environment,” said Ward.

For over 30 years, the foundation has invested in arts and education through partnerships with the National Gallery of Jamaica, the Boy’s Town Infant and Primary School, University of Technology Jamaica and the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts.

Last year, foundation engaged close to 30 new and returning grant partners.

Among them were the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jamaica; Jamaica Junior Theatre; Missionaries of the Poor; Salvation Army; Friends of Mona Rehab; Rise Life Management Services; the Violence Prevention Alliance; Peace Management Initiative; Wortley Home for Girls; Jamaicans for Justice and the Jamaica Association for the Deaf.
