Alleged fake Jamaican dentist arrested in The Bahamas for court today
A 27-year-old Jamaican woman arrested in The Bahamas for pretending to be a dentist is to be arraigned in the magistrate's court on several criminal charges this morning.
The Financial Crimes Investigations Unit says the woman has been charged with fraud, using the title of an orthodontist, advertising as a dentist and practising as a dentist and acquiring and possessing the proceeds of crime.
The police say a 30-year-old Bahamian man will also be charged with acquisition and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Their identities will be released during their court appearance.
