Residents of Strictland, Manchester urged to boil water for consumption
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Strictland, Manchester that, due to operational challenges at the storage facility, they are to boil all water intended for consumption until further notice.
As soon as the situation is resolved, the Commission will notify the affected customers.
The agency is also cautioning residents to refrain from tapping into the raw water at the storage facility.
Customers are being urged to wait until the treatment process is completed and water is distributed through the pipelines.
