The National Works Agency (NWA) is reporting that traffic signals at a number of busy intersections in the Corporate Area are now out of service due to a power outage.

The agency says the power failure is affecting a number of stoplights at intersections in Half-Way-Tree, Papine, along Hope and Old Hope Roads, Trafalgar and Waterloo Roads.

Signals can only be restored following the reinstatement of power supply.

Senior Communications Officer at the NWA, Ramona Lawson, is advising motorists that under the circumstances, no one has the right of way.

She advises that all motorists should stop on approach of junctions that are currently without functioning traffic lights.
