Optimum Trading Limited: ‘Creating Impactful Smiles’
Over the last 25 years, Optimum Trading has built a reputation for distributing a wide range of state-of-the-art dental products and equipment. This is all in an effort to provide Jamaica with happy smiles. However, just a few weeks ago, on Labour Day, they had persons smiling for entirely different reasons.
Partnering with the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston and the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Jamaica, more than 20 volunteers converged to repaint and carry out simple repairs to the Golden Age Home in Kingston. The Golden Age Home is the largest infirmary in the Caribbean and was established 34 years ago following the fateful Eventide fire that took the lives of more than 150 elderly citizens.
Jason Clarke, chief executive officer (CEO) of Optimum Trading Limited, expressed how delightful it was to give back in this way.
“To give a little cheer, to make someone feel remembered and appreciated is honourable work,” he told The Gleaner.
He further explained that the event was in line with Optimum’s core beliefs, having partnered with dental and medical outreach events and provided tertiary-education assistance to students across multiple disciplines over many years.
According to the CEO, the company is committed to living out their social investment tagline, ‘Creating Impactful Smiles’. He further explained that they are ready to continue making a lasting impact that goes beyond their core business of providing dental supplies across Jamaica.
Optimum Trading Limited distributes a full suite of dental supplies, offers a wide range of support equipment, and is a leader in consultation concerning international best practices in dentistry.
