Commercial Director at Hospiten Chevaughne Miller used her recent birthday celebration to stage an intimate 5K run with her friends, raising enough funds to purchase tablets for inner-city youth who have been having difficulty accessing online schoolwork. Last week, Miller presented three tablets to students residing in the community of Mt Salem. ‘My contribution is towards their future. I can only hope that when they get to the age wherein they too can help a child, they will do so too,’ said Miller. St James High School student Dereisha Bingham (left) said she has been using her phone to access classes. She was extremely grateful for the gift, as were seven-year-old Jayden Parkin of Catherine Hall Primary School and Shinelle Warlock, a student of Hopewell High School.
