The Forestry Department was on hand at the 69th staging of the Denbigh Agricultural & Industrial Food Show this weekend to champion tree planting. Trees serve a range of functions – from helping to provide climate security, given their ability to store carbon dioxide to serving as a habitat for diverse species, food and shelter.
