Cop allegedly kills spouse then attempts suicide

A policeman reportedly shot and killed his spouse before turning the gun on himself in a suicide attempt in St Mary last night.
The incident occurred about 10:20 p.m. in the Essex community.
Reports are that the constable, who is assigned to the St Andrew North police division, used his Glock service pistol to fatally shoot 21-year-old teaching assistant D'Johnnay Graham.
He then allegedly inflicted a gunshot wound to his own head.
The constable remains under police guard at a hospital.
The Richmond police are investigating.
