St Elizabeth man arrested and charged for breaking into appliance store
The police in St Elizabeth have charged a man for breaking into an appliance store located in Siloah.
He is 37-year-old labourer Denvor Palmer of Plantain Walk district in Siloah, who is charged with housebreaking and larceny.
A court date is being finalised for him.
Reports from the Black River police are that about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 08, lawmen were informed of a break-in that was in progress at the appliance store.
They responded, made checks, and observed that the padlocks were removed.
Following this discovery, a search of the area was conducted, and, according to the police, Palmer was found hidden behind the building.
The police say several pairs of footwear, household and electrical items were found in his possession.
He was arrested and subsequently charged.
