C&W Communications hosts dealer awards
It was a glitzy affair on Wednesday, August 26 as C&W Jamaica rolled out the red carpet and feted 35 of its top performing dealers from across the island. They were recognised for their longstanding support, excellent service delivery, contribution to the growth of the sector and to the C&W success story.
"Our dealers are critical partners to our business," noted Stephen Price, head of Retail and Distribution. "The growth in our customer numbers and sales revenues are due in no small measure to the significant role our dealers play, as they represent a direct link to our customers," he added.
Thirty-five awards across eight distinct categories were presented to large and small dealers who have enabled the growth of the sub-sector within the telecoms industry. Among the awards were: Top Performer All Products, Platinum and Gold; Hard Cards, MastersGold and Silver awards; Medium Dealer - platinum, gold and silver; E-Pins platinum, gold and silver; Small Dealer Awards; Direct Electronic Top Up; Most Outstanding and Business centric Dealer as well as Most Improved.
Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining Phillip Paulwell-special guest speaker at the event, congratulated the awardees and hailed "the merger of Cable & Wireless and Columbus, as one of the most significant developments to have taken place in the ICT sector within the region in decades."
The gala awards ceremony took place at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston.
