Mission Catwalk finale runway showdown
Fashionistas, designers and boutique owners waltzed into the historical Devon House venue to witness the Mission Catwalk 'All Star' finale runway showdown, last Sunday.
Upon entry patrons walked the red carpet Hollywood style as cell phone paparazzi got all fired up.
Two bars flanked the venue ensuring the libations flowed freely while guest enjoyed giveaways from Top Draw 'money pon a money pon top a money' before the show.
The panellist of five Judges were Keneea Linton - George, Carlton Brown, Novia McDonald- White, and guest judges, designer Matthew Harris and Mercedes Gonzales from New York, had a hard task ahead of them as the top three: Ryan Chan from Trinidad and Tobago, David Rolle from Bahamas and Renardo Lloyd from Jamaica, did battle on the runway.
The winner of season five will walk away with the top prize valued at five million dollars.
As each designer took to the stage, the audience took careful note, with their applause showing the ones they approved of. Chan's designs dazzled with a collection that comprised of short flared dresses and jump suits. Rolle added a little colour to the evening with his revolutionary theme of feathers, blue and white of the sky and purple of the sunset.
Lloyd's brought his /Modern Goddess' collection to the stage in the form of long golden gowns with a touch of purple.
The judges took notes and the scores are tallied, the designers will be kept in suspense as the winner will not be announced until tomorrow Saturday November 21.
