Miss Universe Jamaica NE 2016 sashed
Glamour and beauty reigned as contestants in the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Miss Universe Jamaica North East 2016 were recently sashed at the hotel.
Representatives from title/event sponsors Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, along with sponsors of the contestants and associate sponsors all seemed pleased with the line-up of beautiful young women selected by franchise holder Shelle Parchment and her team.
No clear favourites have emerged as yet, but it is expected that competition will be tight come the the night of the finals on June 18.
"We are proud to collaborate with the Miss Universe Jamaica North East pageant and are confident Moon Palace Jamaica Grande will set the stage for a truly unforgettable event," Clifton Reader, the hotel's general manager, promised.
Parchment was clearly excited about this year's event. She noted, "We are overjoyed with the new partnership and looking forward to many more years of awesome collaboration."
The event was also used to introduce The Palace Foundation. This collaboration will be in the form of the adoption of 14 pre-teen girls who will be mentored by each contestant and featured at the finals in June.
