Tuesday Talk

1. Members of the LGBT community are watching with great interest to see if their favourite candidate will emerge winner in the upcoming polls. Indeed, they see the likelihood of victory as a turning point in politics in the region.

2. Voice notes apparently of a teacher making demands for Teacher's Day consideration have gone viral. The teacher is adamant that she wants no roses and no postcards on Wednesday. She prefers lotion, perfume etc, but as far as she was concerned flowers and cards are wasting money. It's the 21st Century!

3. People are asking how come someone who never applied for a job for which on paper she is not qualified ended up as the favoured candidate? In the end, two men and one woman are on the ticket but the director of elections appear to be the sole arbiter, or so he thinks. Well the gentleman who is so used to having his way is facing a spectacular battle this time.
