Representatives from the Kingston Western Police Division, along with members of the Mayberry Investments team, brought cheer and good tidings to residents of west Kingston on Friday. More than 100 parcels packaged by the Denham Town Police Station were distributed to senior citizens in the communities of Jones Town, Craig Town, Torrington Park, 'Mexico', 'Zimbabwe' and Denham Town.

The initiative has been running for the past 10 years and has grown over these years to help even more persons.

Stephanie Harrison, Mayberry marketing officer, who was on hand for the presentations, said that the company is elated to have partnered again with the police on this most noble programme.

"This drive benefits so many senior citizens, and we are happy to bring a smile to their faces this Christmas," Harrison said.

Assistant Superintendent Noel Daley was grateful for the continued support and pointed out that the move has strengthened the relationship between the residents and police.
