Former world-record holder Asafa Powell won a 100-metre race in Brazil in 10.02 seconds in Brazil, his fastest time of the year.
The Jamaican sprinter beat Americans Marvin Bracy, 10.14 and Dentarius Locke 10.17 at the Brazilian Grand Prix in the northern city of Belem.
Powell, who ran 9.72 in 2008, served a six-month suspension after failing a doping test last year.
