World Youth Champs: Kimone Shaw clocks 11.58 in 100m heats

Sprinter Kimone Shaw clocked 11.58 seconds to win her heat of the girls 100 metres at the 9th IAAF World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia today.

Vanesha Pusey also advances to the second round after finishing second in her heat of the girls 100 metres in 11.83 seconds.

The race was won by Germany's Hannah Brier in 11.39 seconds.

Devia Brown threw a personal best 15.68 metres, surpassing her previous mark of 15.05 metres, to advance to the final of the girl’s shot put.
