Silver for Alia Atkinson

Swimmer Alia Atkinson won Jamaica's first medal of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada last night.

Atkinson pocketed silver in the women's 100 metres breaststroke clocking 1:06.59 behind gold medal winner Katie Meili of the United States. Meili won in 1:06.26.

The bronze medal went to Canada's Rachel Nicol in 1:07.91.
