Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have beaten the United States in Atlanta to advance to the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Jamaica took the lead at the Atlanta Dome 2-0 in the first half with goals from strikers Darren Mattocks and Giles Barnes.

Mattocks first scored with a header off a long throw-in from Kemar Lawrence in the 30th minute.

Five minutes later, Barnes scored with a brilliant curling free-kick.

The United States’ Michael Bradley would pull back one for the Americans in the 48th minute as they intensified the pressure on the Reggae Boyz.

Jamaica will meet either Panama or Mexico in the finals depending on the outcome of their encounter later this evening.

The Reggae Boyz last beat the United States 2-1 at the National Stadium in a World Cup qualifier.
