Since the start of the Barclays Premier League (BPL) season earlier this month, football fans in both Jamaica and the Caribbean have been downloading the new Flow Football App to access audio streaming of matches, commentaries and other football news live and direct at their convenience.

According to a release from Flow, the app, in its first week, ranked among the top-five apps to be downloaded above the likes of Instagram and Facebook in the Apple store rankings across several markets in the region including Jamaica.

Features of the app include the ability to select the BPL match of choice, listen to match commentaries, tune in to football segments which provide in-depth coverage of breaking football news, live scores, results and tables of the teams all the while "on the go".

"The feedback of local football fans has been remarkable about the new app and we have seen tremendous growth in its popularity since it was launched a few weeks ago. The Flow Football App is a great way of using our technology and innovation to enhance how persons access and enjoy the sport and the reviews have been excellent," said Carlo Redwood who leads marketing, products and promotions for the combined LIME & Flow entity.
