Fantastic four chasing women's 4X400 relay medal

A historic four women in the 2015  IAAF World Championships 400m final means Jamaica are a favourite to win  a medal in the IAAF World Championships 4X400 relays.

The Jamaican women will  be running from lane 6 in the final.

The quartet comprises Christine Day,  Shericka Jackson, Stephenie-Ann McPherson and Novlene Williams-Mills.

The female 4X400m team advanced to the final after finishing second behind Nigeria in with a time of 3:23.62.

The addition of Williams-Mills and McPherson is expected to provide the added strength to the relay squad.

Jamaica’s mile relay team will have to stave off  multiple World Champions, the United States of America and Russia to add to Jamaica’s tally.
