Back to the drawing board for Tracy
LAUSANNE, Switzerland:
Jamaica's 400 metres Olympic finalist Ristananna Tracy has expressed her disappointment after placing seventh in the event at the Lausanne Diamond League meet yesterday.
Competing in a star-studded field clocked a slow 56.23 seconds.
"I was doing well in the first half of the race, but I hit the seventh barrier and it was hard to recover from that as I just kept my form then and finished the race healthy," Tracy said.
"You can't have a perfect execution every time and I just have to go back to the drawing board and come again as one race does not define my season. I will just go back and watch the tape with my coach and fix what went wrong," she added.
Tracy will next compete in the London Diamond League meet on Sunday.
