Ilana Blackwood failed to advance to the next stage of the tennis tournament after she was ousted by Namibia's Georgina Moolman 2-0. Moolman took the first set 6-4 and the final set 7-6 to move on to the next round..

The nation's lone representative at cycling (road racing), Brandon Reid, finished a disappointing second-to-last after coming in 30th out of 31 riders with a time of 14 minutes 49 seconds. The race was won by Bermuda's Oliver Matthews in 12.06.
