#ReturnToLondon: No Thompson for sprint relay final, McLeod added to men's team

LONDON, England:

Elaine Thompson will not take part in the women's 4x100m relay final at the World Championships in London. 

Jura Levy, Natasha Morrison, Simone Facey and Sashalee Forbes - in that order, will represent the Jamaicans in the final which gets underway at 9:30 p.m. (3:30 p.m. Jamaica time) inside the London Stadium. 

Simone Facey was brought in the team to replace Christania Williams, who competed earlier in the heat. 

Meanwhile, 110m hurdles gold medal winner Omar McLeod will run the opening leg for the Jamaican men in their 4x100m relay final with Yohan Blake also joining the team on the third leg. The unit is completed by Julian Forte and Usain Bolt, who will be competing in his final race. 

The men's 4x100m relay final takes place at 9:50 p.m. (3:50 p.m.).
