Javanie Bryan and Ryan Miller converted in the second half for the news men. Miller scored his second goal in the first two games, which pushed the team to the top on six points.

RJRGLEANER team manager Nicolette McLeary lauded the players, but pointed out that ATL were very physical in their approach and had two players ejected during the game.

Wonderful Start

"It is a wonderful start to the season. We are very grateful to keep clean sheets in two wins. We are not gelling as how we want to be, but it is wonderful that we won against a physical ATL team," she said.

"Miller is very influential to the team. He sets high standards for himself and the team. Once he leads, the team follows. He motivates the whole team to do well," she added.

In other results, Metrodade and National Water Commission battled to a 1-1 draw; reigning champion Scotiabank edged Peak Bottling 2-1; Petrojam slammed GraceKennedy 4-0; and Wisynco and Jamaica Customs finished 1-1.
