The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) says two individuals in its travelling contingent for the upcoming international friendly match against the United States have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Reggae Boyz are now in Austria, where the game will be played on Thursday and the JFF says the individuals learned of their positive result upon arrival on Monday.

"Momentarily, all squad members are isolated in their rooms as per UEFA protocol awaiting another test before any activity can be initiated," a JFF statement said. "Ten England-based players arrived including Adrian Mariappa and Michael Hector. All the players are scheduled to undergo a PCR COVID-19 test [which started] today at 1:30 p.m. Jamaica time as per UEFA protocol with the results due 12 hours later."
