The first record of the 2021 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships belongs to Cedricka Williams of Holmwood Technical High.

Williams claimed the Class Two Discus title in a new Champs record of 47.04m on her final attempt inside the National Stadium on Wednesday, besting the 46.69m mark set by Marie Forbes from Vere Technical, which was set in 2018.

Williams took the lead in the second round with a distance of 46.23m and was in control of the gold medal througout the remainder of the competition, despite being way off her personal and season best of 51.27m.

Damali Williams of Edwin Allen needed a distance of 43.72m on her final attempt to claim silver, while Britannie Johnson of Camperdown High came third with 42.32m.
