Junior and senior athletes preparing for the World Athletics Under-20 Championships, and the Tokyo Olympic Games will get a last chance to shine before next week’s four-day National Championships when they compete today at a JAAA All-Comers meet, starting at 8:10 a.m.

The meet, which is set for the National Stadium, is expected to be well supported as athletes seek to sharpen up for next week’s Trials.

For the juniors who will be competing in both the under-18 and under-20 categories, this will be the first chance to compete for some of them since last month’s ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Championships. Most of these athletes were involved in JAAA-organised weekend camps for the past two weeks.

The following are the events to be contested today:

Seniors: 100m men and women, 200m women, 100m hurdles women, 110m hurdles men, 400m men and women, 800m men and women, 400m hurdles men and women, long jump for men and women and shot put men.

Juniors: Discus throw under-20 boys and girls, 100m hurdles under-18 and under-20 girls, 400m under-20 boys.
