Vox Pop question: How many medals do you think Jamaica will win at the Tokyo Olympics?
Gary White: “We are going to win 15 medals because we are going to show (Usain) Bolt that him set the stage and we are carrying forward. We are going to make the world realise say Jamaica is a land of wood, water and speed.”
Mikala Morrison: “I think we are going to win 13 medals in the Olympics this year. The events that I think we will medal in are the women’s 100m and 200m, the men’s 100m, and also the long jump for both men and women, and the sprint relays.”
Patrick Moncrieff: “We are going to win about 14 medals, but we are going to win most of them in the track and field, especially in the sprints and long jump and the relay events.”
Maurice Setal: “I will say seven medals. I think we will win medals in the 100m and 200m for women, and also in the 400m women because I don’t think the men are going to win anything. I think we are going to mash up the relays too.”
Romario Spence: “Five medals is my best guess. I think we will most definitely in the sprint events, and especially like how they weeded out the persons who use enhancing drugs. I believe that Jamaica is going to take it to them at the Olympics.”
