ST ANDREW Technical High (STATHS) and Excelsior High played to a 3-3 draw in their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup game this afternoon at Stadium East Field.

The teams traded four goals in the first half as Excelsior's Jevaughnie Simms opened the scoring after two minutes before Omar Laing equalised 18 minutes later. Onando Calame restored Excelsior's lead in the 22nd minute but Laing brought back parity again in the 33rd minute.

STATHS were reduced to 10 men in the 50th minute when Dexter Manning was given a straight red for dissent, and Excelsior capitalised on the man advantage five minutes later when Jhevan Smith scored from the penalty spot.

But STATHS salvaged a point five minutes from time as Omar Reid finished from close range to deny Excelsior all three points.
