The Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA), earlier today announced that two teams, Camperdown High and Tivoli Gardens High schools have been booted from this year's ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup.

The teams, which both played in the Manning Cup's Group B had initially been thought to have qualified for the competition's quarterfinal round but a release from the organisation noted this not to be the case.

"Kindly note that games played by both Camperdown High and Tivoli Gardens High have been ruled null and void as both schools were deemed to have used ineligible players throughout the competition," read the release.

The ruling paved the way for Excelsior High School and St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) to enter the second stanza of the competition.

Excelsior and STATHS join Jamaica College, Kingston Technical High School, Mona High School, and St Catherine High School and Charlie Smith High School in the quarterfinal.
