World U-20 | Lyston takes gold, Reid bronze in women's 200 metres

Jamaica's Brianna Lyston, Friday, won the gold medal in the women's 200 metres at the World Under-20 Championships that is taking place at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali, Colombia.

Alana Reid, Jamaica's other competitor in the event, won the bronze medal.

Lyston was an easy winner as she clocked 22.65 seconds for victory to finish ahead of Jayla Jamison of the United States of America (USA), who did a personal best of 22.77 as Reid ended in 22.95, also a personal best.

Jamaica have eight medals, which comprise two gold, three silver and three bronze.
